Account Registration and Security

To use SmartMap, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your contact information remains current

User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

When using SmartMap, you agree to:

• Use the service responsibly and lawfully

Payment Terms and Credits

SmartMap operates on a credit-based system:

• Credits are purchased in packages ($10 for 1,000 Credits)
• Credits are consumed when using AI-powered features
• No refunds for unused credits
• Credits do not expire but accounts inactive for 12+ months may be suspended
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes

Intellectual Property

SmartMap and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use our service for personal and commercial purposes as intended, but you may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software or content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works based on our service

Data Accuracy and Limitations

While we strive to provide accurate location information, SmartMap:

• Makes no guarantees about the accuracy of location data
• Relies on third-party data sources that may contain errors
• Uses AI that may occasionally produce incorrect results
• Should not be used as the sole source for critical decisions

Always verify important location information through multiple sources.

Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice
• Update these Terms as needed
• Suspend accounts that violate these Terms
• Implement usage limits or restrictions

Limitation of Liability

SmartMap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Decisions made based on our location recommendations
• Losses resulting from inaccurate or outdated information
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Third-party content or services accessed through our platform

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be suspended
• Unused credits will be forfeited
• Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
